  8.      The shift key can be used to lock the motion of the mouse to either
  9.      horizontal or vertical motion. Hold the shift key down, and move
  10.      the mouse sideways. The mouse is now locked onto one horizontal
  11.      line and will not be able to move vertically until the shift
  12.      key is released. Repeat this sequence, but move the mouse
  13.      vertically after the shift key is depressed. The mouse will now
  14.      be locked into vertical movement on a column of pixels.
